Health screening measures will also be introduced at airport terminals, including temperature checks at building entry points, to ensure all passengers are fit to fly.
Minimising contact will be imperative throughout airports at all times to enhance public safety. Actions put into place to increase social distancing will include safe distance markers around airports and side-by-side gating will be avoided where possible to increase social distancing.
Restricted area access will be applied at airport terminals and travellers are not advised to arrive for check-in early. Actions to speed this process up is to check-in via a mobile or app. Home-printed passes and bag tags will also significantly reduce time spent in the airport terminal and self-scanning boarding passes will also be an option where possible.
